Support Group
The support group is made up of parents elected at the AGM who
oversee matters at the Group level. All Support Group members are
required to have a current Working With Children card.
Some of the projects the support group have undertaken are;
2012
- replacement of switchboard
- Repair Front Gate
2011
- Sanding and lacquering of the Guide Hall Floor.
- Upgrading of outside lighting to promote outdoor activities.
- Installation of remote control floodlight for the car park to increase safety.
- Establishment of website.
- Replacement of corrugated iron roof at the back section of the hall.
- Replacement of guttering and downpipes around the hall.

- Installation of emergency lighting
- solar electricity

How Can You Help?
When your daughter joins Guiding, so do you.
Support group are on the lookout for parents able to help in any way at
all. Some suggestions;
- You may be a tradesman able to donate some time for hall maintenance and upgrades.
- demonstrate and teach special skills
- participate in activity days
- provide transport to camps and outings
- create notices or newsletters
- have a some helpful ideas
